"The Wizard of Oz"  is the movie version we all grew up loving done with a twist. Dorothy will be from the modern day, and she will be thrown into a a world inspired by the Steampunk movement. Steampunk is a science fiction movement made popular in the 1980s inspired by Old Victorian Era Britain and the Old American West.

"Our American Cousin" is the play President Lincoln attended the night of his assassination. It is a three-act farcical comedy about American Asa Trenchard visits England to claim his inheritance from a distant relative.

For the past two summers, Lincoln Amphitheatre surveyed our Guests, and we listened. Our Guests would like our signature play to be more family-friendly, and they prefer musicals. This year we decided to take the time to rewrite the play into a musical with all new orchestration and original score.

"The Wizard of Oz" is definitely inspired with all of the songs we loved as kids and adults like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

"Our American Cousin" is a play.
